Founded in 2015, Beijing Ned Ltd. is a high-tech company founded by a doctoral team from the University of Arizona, Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as by a senior optical process engineer team. It is specialized in the design, development, production and technical support of optical modules for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) HMD.
The team has more than 10 years of design, R&D and production experience for AR and VR and own nearly 100 patents, including several U.S. patents, and have published many professional papers.The product quality has reached or exceeded the relevant products of high-tech companies from United States, Japan and etc., and has provided optical modules for lots of well-known companies.

Dewen Cheng has a doctoral degree in co-cultivation from the University of Arizona and the Beijing Institute of Technology. He is a professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology and holds more than 40 international top journal articles in the field of optics. He has breakthrough research in the fields of freeform surfaces, waveguides, and light fields, and has undertaken major research projects in the national display.
Bachelor of Science degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and a master degree in media economics from Renmin University of China. He has worked in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for more than ten years. He has been engaged in business management and planning for nearly ten years. He has extensive experience in upgrading the value of technology brands, and has operated and managed product platforms such as Photovoltaic.
Experts in optical mold design and R&D, numerical control manufacturing and nano-manufacturing, once participated in the national 863 project as optical manufacturing core researchers; there are only a few engineering experts who master the core process of ultra-precision free-form optical processing technology.
